I have been developing an artistic career since moving away from the commercial world of Product Design in 2007. I am now avidly pursuing my passion for sculpture and environmental art. With careful consideration to form and materials I strive to create designs that harmonise with their environment.
I always find time to develop ‘spontaneous land art’ pieces that I make and photograph whilst walking in the countryside, on the hills or by the coast. These varied and often wild locations, offer challenges in terms of material, weather and natural elements that help inspire unique site-specific structures.
My specific approach to sculpture, especially my work trees, has generated exciting commission opportunities including recently Moscow in Russia. Large scale installations also continue to feature strongly in my portfolio of environmental projects.
